When handling large industrial equipment, standard unloading is not enough. The weight and dimensions of the equipment, lifting and slinging points, site specifics, the condition of the foundation, available headroom and space for movement all have to be taken into account in advance.
Rigging is especially critical when installing equipment inside operating or under-construction production facilities, where room for manoeuvre is limited and high positioning accuracy is required.
